Sherrie Gould, NP-C

Sherrie Gould, MSN, NP-C is a board-certified nurse practitioner at Scripps Clinic Movement Disorders Center in La Jolla, CA. She holds a Masters of Science in Nursing from the University of San Diego and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Michigan. She is an expert DBS programmer and is a national speaker on Parkinson Disease. In 2010, she created a grassroots nonprofit organization which supports fundraising and education for research using patient specific non-embryonic stem cell therapy for a proposed long-term treatment for Parkinson disease.
Juliana Atem, NP-C

Juliana Nkea Atem is a certified nurse practitioner currently working at the Dallas VA Medical Center. She received a Master's in Nursing from University of Texas (UT) Arlington and her Doctorate in Nursing Practice from Briar Cliff University in Sioux City, IA, and is certified in acute care and adult gerontology. Prior to joining the VA and fulfilling her desire to serve veterans, Dr. Atem worked for five years at UT Southwestern Movement Disorders Program. She began her work in nursing sixteen years ago and has worked in a variety of specialties.
Clarisse Goas, APRN-CNP

Clarisse Goas, APRN-CNP is a Nurse Practitioner who graduated Summa Cum Laude with Research Distinction from The Ohio State University in 2008 with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. She graduated in 2012 with her MSN in Adult Health after receiving the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) Award. Her father’s diagnosis of Parkinson disease contributed to her desire to subspecialize in Movement Disorders. She returned to Ohio in 2019 and joined The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center in the Advanced Therapies Movement Disorders program in January of 2020. She has experience in clinical trials (both as the principal investigator and co-investigator), including new medication symptomatic interventions, deep brain stimulation and intestinal pump drug delivery systems. She currently runs the virtual quarterly PD patient education series “Understanding the Disease,” is the PD Multidisciplinary Clinic Coordinator at OSU, and the NP team lead for Duopa.
Jordan Harborth, FNP-C

Jordan Harborth, FNP-C is a nurse practitioner who is originally from in New Braunfels, Texas. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2012 and worked as a registered nurse in hospital emergency medicine in Killeen and Cedar Park, Texas while pursuing his graduate studies. He earned his Master of Science in Nursing from Texas State University – Round Rock in 2015. After graduation he began his career at Neurology Solutions Consultants, Movement Disorder Center in Austin, Texas. He enjoys educating and supporting patients while also trying to advance awareness in the community.

Meredith Hatcher (Rollins), PA-C is a Board-Certified Physician Assistant who grew up in Allen, Texas. She attended Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas. There she played on the NCAA volleyball team for four years and was a member of the Christian sorority, Sigma Phi Lambda. Meredith attended the Physician Assistant program at Trevecca Nazarene University in Nashville, Tennessee for her Master of Science in Medicine. After graduate school, she began training under Dr. Soileau to pursue her interest in movement disorders. In November 2017, Meredith joined the team at Texas Movement Disorder Specialists where she strives to provide excellent care by supporting patients physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
Amanda Hare, DNP, AGNP-C

Amanda Hare is a Doctor of Nursing Practice who started her career as a bedside nurse, working in an Neuroscience Intensive Care Unit after receiving her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from The University of South Carolina. She spent over 8 years as a bedside nurse in the Neuro ICU caring for critically-ill patients recovering from strokes, both ischemic and hemorrhagic, as well as patients with spinal cord injuries and brain tumors. She went on to graduate from The Medical University of South Carolina, receiving her Doctor of Nursing Practice and provided care for Parkinson's patients and other movement-related disorders at an academic Center of Excellence. She currently is the Medical Science Liaison for Rune Labs and practices general neurology part time in a rural area of South Carolina.

Arita McCoy, MSN, CRNP is a Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner at the MedStar Health in geriatric medicine. She joined MedStar after more than 15 years working at Johns Hopkins Medicine,. This included being the JHM coordinator for the Parkinson's Foundation Center of Excellence in their movement disorder program.

Jenny Nguyen is a Nurse Practitioner in Movement Disorders at the Cleveland Clinic Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health. She has worked with patients with Parkinson’s Disease over the past 6 years in Las Vegas, NV. In 2022, she earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice at George Washington University in Washington, D.C. Her doctoral work focused on the improvement of screening for sleep disorders in patients with Parkinson’s Disease. Dr. Nguyen became a Parkinson Foundation Center of Excellence (COE) Coordinator in 2022 and helps coordinate team training education for the COE, bimonthly case study meeting, report, and grant management. She also works on the palliative care grant presents at local PD patient education symposia and Lunch and Learn programs.

She has a demonstrated history of working in the higher education industry and neurology since 2017. She worked for 4 years at University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio seeing movement disorder patients in clinic and in a research setting. She is currently working at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center Movement Disorders Center. She is skilled in procedures that include deep brain stimulation, baclofen pumps, and injections.
