NEXT TESTING CYCLES

The Certification in Movement & Related Disorders (CMRD) is available to advanced practice providers (APPs) who have completed either two years of movement disorder experience or a one-year APP fellowship in the field. This exam-based certification draws upon a strong foundation of specialized knowledge to ensure clinical proficiency, and the completion of a one-year APP fellowship or clinical experience of at least two years seeing patients with movement disorders providers, are excellent preparation for successful certification. Earning the CMRD credential enhances professional visibility within the healthcare community and ultimately increases patient access to expert movement disorder care.
