Gender Differences & QoL in PD


This articlereview focuses largely on the gender differences that are seen in patients with Parkinson’s Disease. It explores the role of estrogen on elevated levels of dopamine and the link to the delayed onset of PD in women. It also discusses which symptoms are more commonly problematic for each gender and the impact on healthcare related quality of life.
