September Newsletter

Hello AMDAPP Community,

As we turn the page to September, my month of birth, we’re still energized by the incredible strides we made together in August!

Our second regional event in Dallas on August 7th was a resounding success with about 25 professionals in attendance. A combination of movement disorder APPs, Neurologists and other professionals came together for a day of rich education and meaningful networking. The feedback was overwhelmingly positive, and it’s clear that our mission to bring visibility to high-quality care and accessible education closer to home is making a real impact.

Since the Regional event, we’ve expanded our resource library with new clinical toolkits, discussed launching our first peer-mentorship pilot program, and begun planning the next wave of regional events. Member engagement has reached an all-time high, with more of you contributing insights, case studies, and innovative ideas that are shaping the future of our community. We are truly impacting the lives of people with Parkinson’s disease in a phenomenal way!

As we keep striving for excellence in Parkinson’s disease and movement disorders care, we are thrilled to announce that AMDAPP is working on an educational course – 90 Day PD Essentials. This course promises to support all Movement APPs, irrespective of their level of expertise.

This month, we’ll continue that momentum with fresh educational content, new collaboration opportunities, and updates on initiatives that are already making a difference in patient care. Together, we’re not just keeping pace - we’re setting it, we are trailblazers.

Brace yourself for the coolness of Fall!

Cheers!

Juliana
