Dear AMDAPP Community,

What a summer it’s been for movement disorders education and connection! At the end of July, AMDAPP was proud to be part of the Aspen course, which drew a record-breaking 29 advanced practice providers, the largest APP turnout the course has ever seen. For anyone who’s attended in past years, that number tells a story: not long ago, finding even one other APP in the room felt rare. Seeing that growth, in a setting as beautiful and inspiring as Aspen, is a testament to how far our community has come. Whether you’re new to movement disorders or looking for a refresher, this course remains one of the best ways to deepen your expertise while surrounded by peers who understand the work.

The momentum didn’t stop there. On August 1st, AMDAPP offered a hands-on Botulinum Toxin Workshop covering sialorrhea and migraine giving members practical, applicable skills to bring straight back to their patients. And by the time this newsletter reaches you, our second AMDAPP regional event will have just wrapped up in Dallas, TX on August 7th, continuing our push to bring high-quality education closer to home for members across the country.

It’s this combination: relevant education, continuing education credits, interdisciplinary collaboration, and genuine networking that makes AMDAPP what it is. Thank you to everyone who showed up this summer to learn, connect, and grow the field with us.

Enjoy the rest of summer!

Cheers!

Alexis
